It's basically part of the culture in one way or another. It has cafes, museums, and even got a place for the 30th anniversary onside Universal Studios Japan.ĭragon Quest is the foundation for all jRPGs that came after, and it's nostalgic to a lot of people. ![]() In Japan, It's basically close to a religion. Rather than WHY he must be considered, the more pressing question should be, HOW hasn't he been considered?ĭragon Quest is absolutely HUGE in Japan, and it's (finally) starting to rub off here in the west, with the coming of the much anticipated Dragon Quest XI.
